NAFVEC

NAFVEC was established in 2020 to promote awareness of the “Venerabile” and the history of the College and its Martyrs. It is committed to fostering material and spiritual support for the VEC as a unique Catholic institution and seminary housing an exceptional archival collection.

As Catholics from both sides of the Atlantic, the VEC is part of our common cultural heritage.

NAFVEC’s leadership team includes clergy and lay people, from various business, academic, and Church backgrounds.

Ongoing work in the College’s Heritage Collections — and their intersection with other historical collections elsewhere — continues to yield fresh insight into the not insignificant American dimensions to the history of the VEC. The Archives contain rich material concerning the development of the “immigrant Church” in North America in the early 1800s. NAFVEC celebrates these historical connections and encourages further research.
